Hey You People Out There.

Sam and I just spent the past three hours cramming down on some of the details for our upcoming show. One of the most exciting parts is that we finally made our posters for the event! If you are in the Los Angeles region during the time of our show, please come by and take a look! I guarantee it’s worth the visit.

Hey Sam,

1. Glad we bought some frames to play with. I’m kind of tempted to include a lot of photos in our installation but I’m also worried that might be too scatterbrained for our viewers. Maybe.

2. Where shall we do the scanning to prepare for print? We can scan at my school (we have two scanners in the sublevel) or we can also scan at yours. At my school, we have the epson scanners which do a pretty decent job, depending on how careful you are and they can handle both flatbed as well as regular negative scans. Only thing is that they’re located, obviously, at my school and I don’t want to drag you out of the mount if you need to be there. Let me know what works best for you.

frames&frames

dear jess,
i’ve been looking into frames and have narrowed it down to three options:

1. vintage antique frames
2. an assortment of random frames
3. plain black frames

(haha at my options list)

i really want to go for the vintage frames, but we might not have time to find all of them.
as for the black frames (which is our best and safe bet) — we can set a date to go to IKEA and get them in one go.

what do you think? (:

Dear Sam,

This is my first post so I guess the proper title would be Dear Universe. Or maybe, Dear Internet. Better yet, Dear Anyone-Who-Decides-To-Read-This-Including-Sam.

So I submitted the email / letter of intent and I stated that we would arrive around 9 am which means we have to wake up early. I’m sorry. As for other things, we should look into how we want to frame the show, how many photos, any installation fun, and how big the prints should be. I was thinking maybe small, 6 to 8 inches in width. What are your thoughts?

Hello World!

We would like to introduce ourselves and our collective: Sundae. It is currently underway and we are excited for its growth. We are working on a photographic series that will be completed and exhibited by March 14 so make sure to keep an eye out, or two!

Also, don’t forget to check back for our posts of inspirations, communications, and sketches.
